I see the same thing on my wife's hi-resolution laptop display (see the first attached screen shot). The problems are even worse in other places in Toolkit (see the second attached screen shot).
I'll bet you're using "Large Fonts". To check this (at least in Windows XP) ... Right-click on your desktop background and select Properties. Select the Settings tab and click the Advanced button. On the General tab look at "DPI Setting". If it's anything other than "Normal Size (96 DPI)" you'll have problems of this sort in Toolkit.
Toolkit was not designed with support for anything other than 96 dpi screens in mind and it's not something that's easily added now (i.e., don't expect to see it fixed in an "update" to Toolkit). If you have a screen that really *needs* something other than 96 dpi (more and more modern wide-screen laptops, for example), you're kind of stuck. With such a screen you can have Toolkit work properly *or* you can have things outside of Toolkit large enough to read, but you can't have both at the same time.
