http://naicwiki.editme.com/Style is a place to experiment with and/or propose a page layout style for the BIwiki pages.  The comments section of that page (at the very bottom) has a link to this thread.-Jim Thomas

Jim,

>>http://naicwiki.editme.com/Style is a place to experiment with and/or propose a page layout style for the BIwiki pages.<<

I just thought the bold red could be toned down a bit.  Seems a little classier to me.  Also it allows for the titles of each section to stay on one line.

When I changed it, the bold red "click here" hit us in the face against the toned down red, so I changed it to blue.  If you like the changes, I can change it throughout.  If not, that's okay too.

It's not up to me to decide if it's better or not.  But, and this is just my opinion, I find the Times New Roman font more than a little harder to read than the Veranda.

You'd also have to train everyone to manually use that style everytime they add something new (or else you'll be constantly cleaning up after people who don't remember what fonts are supposed to be used).  If there were a concensus to make a change, I think it would be more practical if there is some way for the site administrator (Joe Craig) to change the defaults that are associated with the heading styles (so if you pick "Heading 2" you automatically get the right thing).

Whether the titles fit on one line depends as much on how wide you like to have you browser window as it does on the font.

Yes I made the first line Times New Roman to differenciate it from the sub title below that.  There aren't many choices.  I think you have veranda 5 and I preferred Veranda 4.  I better bud out when it comes to style.  I wasn't aware of the ramifications.

I'll stick with the text - but it may be a while til I get back to it.  My life isn't my own these days <g>.
