I actually read more than 1 photo magazine but you can only pick one from the list.

In addition to Outdoor Photographer I also read PC Photo and Rangefinder.

Interesting, I just looked and I see no option to allow multiple choices.

The one magazine I would never do without is Outdoor Photographer, other than that nowadays I don't read anything else, not enough time. I used to enjoy American Photographer also.

I don't believe that there is a way to have multiple choices in polls here.

I got a free subscription to Rangefinder and that is about to expire and I'll let it. When I was shooting professionally I got it and it was a big help at the time ( >24 years ago) but it really has nothing that interests me now enough to continue receiving it.

PC Photo is just okay but like you, I think I would be lost without OP. I've heard that Digital Photographer is a good magazine as well but I've never even looked at a copy.

... I currently have a subscription to Popular Photography, but I can't seem to find the time to sit down and read it .. :-(

I like it; good articles and good reviews but if I have the option of taking pics or reading about taking pics, I usually do the former ..

Same way with golf .. I get Golf Digest, but I never read the thing .. I play; don't read ..

In the back of my mind, I wonder if I took the time to read would I get better at photography and golf .. ??

I do read Sports Illustrated .. <g>

Hmm, it has been a few years since I got SI. With your recommendation I might have to look into that February issue again. (-:

I don't read any magazines.  Like you, I look at dpreview and Steves digicams websites.

My barber's shop used to a good one but there's nothing but gun and macho stuff there now, even if my barber is a woman <s>

She's much better than the men and always starts with scissors, not a machine gun!

No "none", or should it be none "no" <VBG>, option. OK: the options in the survey neglect to include an option for those of us who no longer have the time to read any photography magazine and now get most of our information from one or more Web sites.

I only subscribe to Nature Photographer. It comes 4 times a year and has pretty pictures. I just got Fall and, um, I'm still behind in reading Summer. But it won't take very long to catch up, one of these days.

I don't read Sports Illustrated.  '-}

You're not a sports fan? <VBG>

Actually, every now and then it is worth grabbing magazines with photos of any type and looking at the photos and then trying to figure out how they took them/improved them.

Whether you're a fan of sports photos or "sporty" photos, it can be worth picking up a copy of Sports Illustrated, as they do have good photography (and often camera gear way out of our budgets) - I sometimes do that when waiting in the doctor's office.

I subscribed to Photo District News for one year, last year, but didn't subscribe again. I browse through PopPhoto on the magazine rack every so often, but I do check out PopPhoto on the internet more often. It's faster.

Sad the way magazines and newspapers are losing readership.
