yes i have checked and i have no insulation in the whole house. it was bilt in 1878 and never had it put in

6" fiberglass in the walls and ceilings... another 8" in the floors... plus it's a manufactured unit is sitting on a full basement that prevents any drafts under the building...

Our little 66x26 five bedroom cabin is tight enough to meet the needs here in Montana...<g>

Now I've just gotta get the generator set fixed just in case we're knocked off the grid... the well pump and furnace fan are NOT optional...

We've had the heated dog dish out and the deicer installed in the horse trough for nearly a month already...<g>
