Since the ancient days of humanity as hunters and collectors, we have had a fascination with groups of similar objects. While these objects are generally quite normal - cards, stamps, coins, oftentimes they are strange - or downright bizarre.

This is a list of the top 10 bizarre collectibles.

  • Hubcaps / License Plates
  • Newspapers
  • Duct Tape
  • Food
  • Dead Animals
  • Spit
  • Skulls
  • Boogers
  • Skin
  • Eyeballs

  • Okay, all you collectors, fess up and tell us what odd things (along with your normal things) do you collect?  There really is so much that piques our interest and so many items to collect.   Please follow this LINK and then let me know what kinds of unusual collections you have.

    Most are weird, but...

In the 1940s, my parents saved their Life, Look and Post magazines.  There were stacks in the attic.  Of course in those days there was no Internet to look up old articles in.

A woman in Arabia saved chicken bones.  She cleaned them though!  She made a very elaborate nativity scene with them every December and had an open house for people to come see it.

Hi Nancy, my mom used to collect Chatelaine magazines (Canadian publication) too.  I never thought that was odd though!

I can't even imagine collecting chicken bones to make a Christmas nativity scene.  She must of been very artistic.
