Oh man, it's hard summarizing Michael's music. The man was like Ali in boxing.

I hate to be a jerk.....

but that was a very offensive comparison.....

In music at least back in the 1960's you had to have talent
and be good to get a record contract.

Not like in sports where......a guy like M. Ali....probably
the biggest sham ever.....cheap shotted, rabbit punched, sucker
punched, kidney punched, rode ropes, talked like a fool in the
3rd person, and last but not certainly least...used to push on
the backs of people necks....even punching them on the top of their
heads and even punching people's necks as the referee would try to
seperate tangled fighters.....

M.J. was great b/c he was great

M. Ali was great b/c he was a media darling.....let me ref all his fights
he'd be lucky to have a winning record.....b/c I'd actually punish him
for all his dirty tactics.......

Compare Michael to something great......like God.....not a dirty SHAM
like M. Ali / CASHus CLAY.....

My choices were the same as yours, I never got into his music of later years. Maybe it's an age thing, I'm 71.

I myself have 2 favorite songs!  "We Are The World" and "Heal The World"! Michael truly and deeply cared for the world! He had such a big heart and he wasn't afraid to show it.  Like they said during the memorial "When he got pushed and knocked down he jumped back up and never stopped fighting!  There is a lot of meaning, love and truth behind his music and that is how i will remember him!  My heart goes out to the family and to his children!  "RIP Michael!  For u are and will always be loved by millions all over the world"!

My best song sang by Michael Jackson is heartbreak hotel, a song written by Elvis presly, because that is where my life was at that time in the romance department.

1 (1 week) I Want You Back

2 (3 weeks) Never Can Say Goodbye

2 (2 weeks) Dancing Machine

2 (2 weeks) Mama's Pearl

3 State Of Shock

Michael Jackson:

1 (7 weeks) Billie Jean

1 (7 weeks) Black Or White

1 (6 weeks) Say Say Say (with Paul McCartney)

1 (4 weeks) Rock With You

1 (3 weeks) Beat It

1 (2 weeks) Man In The Mirror

1 (2 weeks) Bad

1 (1 week) You Are Not Alone

1 (1 week) The Way You Make Me Feel

1 (1 week) Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough

1 (1 week) Ben

1 (1 week) I Just Can't Stop Loving You

Wow! That's more than one ways to qualify the man ... although I wil never refer to you as a jerk for speaking your mnd out though.

Some songs of M.j. I can stop referring myself to: Human Nature, Man in the Mirror (that's a song I think every person ought to listen to and learn from), Cry, She's Out of My Life, Stranger in Moscow ... and a whole lot of others I can't yet think of. Truly he was phemomenal, and I'm glad that no one's going to be taking potshots at him anymore.

Hey, I hear that M.J. was working on two separate albums before he passed away.

LOVE Always!
