How does this explanation not contradict with the words of James?
James 1: 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
If you read my original comment, you would see that I said knowledge of the Bible leaves unanswered questions, faith leads us to the answers to those questions. Basically what I'm saying is that all the knowledge we need of the Bible, is in the Bible, without faith, one can go no further. As far as the scripture from James, without faith, one would not ask God for anything, so the statements aren't contradictory. Furthermore, wisdom and knowledge are two different things. One can have knowledge, and be dumber than a bag of hammers. Wisdom is knowing what to do with the knowledge one has. WARNING: Comments made by Tony are opinions and should not be viewed as fact.
