REACT: SOUPY SALES DIES AT 83

Soupy Sales, the pie-splattered comedian who brought joy and laughter to millions of television viewers through his self-titled TV show and 'What's My Line,' as well as appearances on shows such as 'The Tonight Show' and 'The Love Boat,' and whose popularity/recognition in the 1950s and '60s could be said to rival that of the President, has died at the age of 83. I just saw this and had no idea Soupy Sales died. I have fond memories of him as a child, particularly the pie-in-the-face routine.

Just came upon hearing of Soupy Sales leaving us. how sad the world has lost a wonderful human being who enjoyed making people laugh.I always loved the pie skit.

My prayers to his family.God bless him and may he rest in peace.
