GENERAL NOTICE
Welcome to the Games Site Forum, your complete single-source home for anything and everything about PC, Sony, Nintendo and Xbox games!
You know that cyberspace is full of exciting information and downloadable computer games. But who has the time or energy to find it all? Well, that's what we're here for! We go all over the Web to find everything we can about your favorite games. Then we bring them here, and make it easy for you to find what you need.
What do we offer? Thousands of downloadable files. Chat with other gamers around the globe through our message board and conferences. No matter what kind of games you play (or how you play them), there's no better source for everything you need than the Games Site Forum. We're glad you're here -- and you'll be glad, too!
Like most CompuServe forums, The Games Site Forum is divided into the following areas:
* MESSAGES: Like notes on a bulletin board or letters to the editor, forum messages are correspondence to be read by all. Unlike their paper counterparts, however, forum messages are temporary. What you read today may be gone tomorrow. You'll want to visit the message areas often to be sure you don't miss anything.
* LIBRARY: Our forum Library contains files you may want to download. Files can be text, binary, or graphic images. Newly contributed files are not made available immediately. They must be reviewed carefully by the Sysops before forum members may download them.
We look forward to seeing you here in The Games Site Forum on CompuServe!
RULES
In order to take full advantage of this forum, you must read and understand the following rules and operating procedures of the Forum and agree to abide by the rules and operating procedures in their entirety. This Forum was created and is administered by a Forum Operator (Fun OnLine Corporation, email: FOLCorp@cs.com), an entity which is separate and apart from CompuServe Incorporated. As such, while the operating rules and service agreement you have entered into with CompuServe must be observed, the Rules and operating procedures of this Forum must also be followed and form the basis for all decisions made by the forum administrators. Your access to this Forum is a privilege, not a right, and access to this Forum is not guaranteed by your agreement with CompuServe. The act of accessing the Forum and your use of the Forum constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by these Forum Membership Rules.
These rules will be strictly enforced and violators may, at the sole discretion of the Forum Operator, be suspended or "Locked Out" of the forum. While the Games Site Forum promotes the free flow of ideas and encourages wide-ranging discussion of gaming, certain behavior carries potential risks to the Forum Operator and cannot be allowed.
While the sysop staff is unable to monitor all messages posted in this Forum, members are invited to call a Sysop's attention to a potentially problematic message.
1. RESPECT THE OTHER MEMBERS OF THE FORUM
While there is nothing wrong with a healthy argument, you must not use offensive language or engage in personal attacks on members (or nonmembers) or the staff of this Forum. Personal attacks may subject you and the Forum Operator to potential liability for defamation, contribute nothing to the free flow of ideas, and tend to inhibit rational discussion of the issues. The Forum Operator is not limited in any way in deciding whether a particular message may be offensive to a particular member or the Forum in general. Examples of potentially offensive messages include, but are not limited to, messages that denigrate, insult or ridicule another person, or that contain negative comments on the integrity, personality, honesty, character, intelligence, methods or motives of any person.
In addition, you must respect the privacy of the members and visitors to the Forum. Do not publish private messages or CompuServe Mail messages without the permission of the sender (unless you feel a Forum rule has been broken; if so, forward the message privately to FOLCorp@cs.com for evaluation). Do not publish facts, rumors or innuendo regarding anyone's personal life.
The Forum staff does not have the capability to monitor private messages.
Members may not use profanity or sexually explicit language in the Forum. Although these terms are not easy to define, the Forum Operator and sysop staff may use its discretion to make this Forum comfortable for members who may be sensitive to profane or sexually explicit language.
2. OFF-TOPIC MESSAGES
Ideally, we would prefer that all messages left on the Games Site Forum deal with relevant topics of our Forum. We reserve the right to limit discussions that, in the sole opinion of the Forum Operator is evaluated to be off topic.

Planning, inciting, promoting or facilitating illegal activities through the Forum is strictly prohibited.

Library uploads will be reviewed prior to posting in a relevant Library section to determine whether, in the sole discretion of the Forum Operator, copyrighted, trademarked, or other proprietary material is included in the upload. The Forum Operator cannot review messages prior to posting in the Message section. Reproduction and/or publication, whether knowing or inadvertent, of copyrighted, trademarked or other proprietary material may result in liability to the Forum Operator and/or the posting member and therefore cannot be tolerated. Your upload or posting of any material constitutes a certification by you to the Forum Operator that the material does not make use of or infringe on any copyright, trademark or other proprietary material of others. If you have any question as to whether your upload or post contains copyrighted, trademarked, or other proprietary material, please contact the Forum Operator (at FOLCorp@cs.com) prior to posting or uploading the material.

As you have already agreed when you became a member of CompuServe, your access to this forum or to the CompuServe service may be suspended or terminated at any time or for any reason.
Because it is important that this forum is useful and enjoyable to all its members, we will take appropriate action, which may be a warning, a suspension, or a termination of membership rights in the forum, if a member breaks these Rules, or threatens the security or order of this forum. We don't plan on doing these things, but we will do them if we judge that we must.
