Harvest Photo Winner!

The winner this month is Daryl with the Complete Meal! This photo has lots of color and shows a whole variety of vegetables at a market. All are vegetables which are harvested at this time of year as well or should I say could be harvested in October.

There are several other photos that were very nice, but everyone needs to read the rules. First of all, photos with people included who could be identified were specifically excluded unless you had permission to post their pictures. Len, a step to the left in several pictures would have given us some beautiful shots of the produce without the people in the shot or try cropping out the people. And second, watch that time. Carol had a couple of wonderful pictures that missed the deadline -- sorry!

Congratulations Daryl! Now everyone get those fall foliage shots in for our next contest. I know many of you have wonderful photos of foliage in your yards or while you have been traveling. Some of you have posted them already in other threads so dig them out and repost them.

I had a great time at the Farmer's Market, though it was quite a challenge to keep others out of the photo. See Doug Green's photos here for an explanation and a bit of fun.

Hope you'll all join in this month's contest on Fall Foliage. Len's already uploaded some great photos, but he needs a challenger. :-)
