You can set a signature using the pencil icon when creating an email message. I don't know anything about special holiday signatures?

What version of CS2000 are you using?

Click Help then About Compuserve to find out.

Jon

Hello,

We've got CompuServe 6.0. And you should be able to get the CompuServe 5.0 Holiday signatures.

Will since i been using CS2000 since the early 90's i have never seen holiday signatures, But then again i don't use signatures for emails but have looked at it from time to time and never noticed anything.

Click Create mail then click on the Pencil icon, If there are no holiday signatures then CS does not have them, Don't know what holiday signatures your looking for but if Xmas its too early... :-)

You can call CS since they would know more about holiday signatures than members in here,

Call them at 1-800-848-8990

Regards,

Jon

Sorry i do not believe soo...

You could setup Outlook Express and then will be able to use Holiday signatures using your CS Account... Or a different third party mail client software.. I just don't think CS had them if they did they no longer do sorry.

Regards,

Jon

Hello,

CompuServe did have them at one time but they're going to have to get them back again. They're the ones with even Happy New Year on the listing.

Hello,

Thank You for the information and I'll have more questions soon. I just wish that CompuServe would be the way they should be and I know that some place a computer has the right set up for the Holiday Signatures.

Hi allanbt,

Using Control K with CompuServe 6.0, then clicking the "Keyword List" button, gave me the page where you could send "Greetings..."; selecting that gave me the place to send holiday greetings.

Doing Control K, then "Keyword List", should have taken you to the following page:

http://member.compuserve.com/membercenter/tmpl.jsp?id=mc_keyword_feature

In the left column of that page, select "Send Greetings to All Your Loved Ones"; this should take you to the following page:

http://member.compuserve.com/atplay/greetingcards.jsp?floc=mc-feat-b1-l1

This last page should say "Send Holiday Greetings", where you can send online greeting cards. You do mean "electronic Christmas greeting cards" when you say, "Holiday Signatures"?

allanbt,

I'm afraid that there are *no* "Holiday Signatures" that I can find at all; only the electronic greeting cards for Christmas which I found using the Control K function of the Compuserve software on my own machine. That's it. Indeed, there is no one here who has ever even "heard" about any such thing as "Holiday Signatures" for Compuserve at all. This is why I assumed that you must have meant "Christmas greeting cards" when you said "Holiday signatures"!

Would you please put into detail exactly how you used the Control K function before in getting to Holiday Signatures? For Control K is actually a general feature for access to many different parts of the Compuserve service... with each Compuserve feature, such as Greeting Cards, accessed with either a Keyword (also known as GO Word), or by menus which come up when using Control K. For instance, the Keyword "Greeting Cards" does work in accessing the Christmas card area (I did try using Keyword
"Holiday Signatures", but that failed).

Hello Wayne,

I need your E-mail address so  that I can explain the problem because I had to get to another computer for the Holiday Signature. It's kind of hard to explain because of the way it's going right now. The signatures I use are for Christmas, New Year's and Thanksgiving Day.

So if  you're going to look for the Holiday signatures it's control K and then it's soupposed to give you the CompuServe 5.0 web site for the Holiday signatures!

Happy Halloween!
