I went to your web page http://sites.google.com/site/iainnoblesite/Home/imap-faq and have a question. The following is from your page:
"IMPORTANT UPDATE!"If you prefer
to use POP3 to access your Compuserve 2000 mailbox, this is possible.
Some programs/devices do not support IMAP and some members have
reported problems using IMAP. "Use these settings:
* Account Name: Your CS2000 Member Name (without the @cs.com part). * Password: Your CS2000 password. * Email Address: Your Member Name with @cs.com after it. * Incoming Mail Server Type: POP3. * Incoming Server Name: pop.aol.com * Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.aol.com. * Change Outgoing port from 25 to 587 to be able to send emails. * Put a checkmark in My Server requires Authentication for outgoing mail servers."
My question is where am I using these settings? In something like Outlook Express, or am I using these settings in CompuServe 2000 itself?
