They are rooting for the destruction of our country based on the benefits for their party.  They have lost their moral compass and lost any perspective that our nations interests come first above all else.

It certainly appears they will do anything necessary, including sabotaging their own nation, for the perceived benefits of their party.

Well, Monty, it looks like you described liberals to a T.

Neo-Conservatives are imho among the divisive of all the political factions in the U.S.

More divisive than entire news networks mocking Tea Parties, Janene Garafalo suggesting Americans right to protest larger government is racist, any comment from a Republican is racist and not a credible critique? Obama himself calling an entire police department acted "stupidly" although he didn't have all the facts. Pelosi calling protestors Nazi's and unamerican for excersizing their constitutional right to freedom of assembly and freedom of speech?

I'd say both sides are divisive and that is a truth you can not realistically denie.

Too damn liberal:

Neoconservatism is a political philosophy that emerged in the United States of America, and which supports using American economic and military power to bring liberalism, democracy, and human rights to other countries.[1][2][3] In economics, unlike traditionalist conservatives, neoconservatives are generally comfortable with a welfare state; and, while rhetorically supportive of free markets, they are willing to interfere for overriding social purposes"

You recognize those facts above about the neoconservatives, and yet you continue to support their agendas and repeat their propaganda and cheer them as they continue to divide and destroy the GOP ?

No I don't. I want a smaller government. Bush was not a conservative, he let spending get out of control and the size of government grew.

Pelosi calling protesters Nazi's and unamerican for exersizing their constitutional right to assembly and freedom of speach?)

The Tea Party organization deserves serious criticisim. In fact, they deserve being ignored by the public. After promoting and taking part in those town hall protest this past summer, their actions and behavior were unamerican. Pelosi is right in her remark. (We have had this discussion before.) The idea that those protesters think that they had the right to deny all those other people attending those meetings their rights to questions and answers from their representatives over the contents of the health care bill, was purely censorship on the part of the protesters.  So don't try telling us and the world that they were just merely expressing their right to freedom of speech. Now we find that the Tea party organization over the past few weeks are now on a push to their members to encourage the Republicans in the senate finance commitee to walk out on the voteing for the health care reform bill. So, you going to tell me that that is a fine outstanding example of our democratic process?

I can agree with you on Obama jumping the gun on his comments about the police actions, but, think about the stupidity of GWB and his non-existing weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? I can go on...and...on....and...on about Georgy Jr. and his stupidity.

There has never been a Republican president in my lifetime that ever kept spending under control. Lets face reality, smaller American government is unrealistic in this day  and age. The idea was realistic 219 years ago, it was realistic 150 years ago, but, the past 100 years, not a realistic idea. Were to big, to populated to function on the premise of smaller government. Thats the facts. The Republicans and the conservatives have got to face that reality, they can't run with that idea anymore. Its not going to work thru the 21st century.

It's severely delusional thinking to add up what you consider specifics of a group that you despise, compare and dismiss against the other party and then use those specifics to lift one's own party. It's severely delusional thinking to believe that only oner party is above gutter-sniping and that ONLY ONE party represents good morals, honesty without a SINGLE liar in that group, a single person who attacks on a personal level or a single person that can and will stoop to a level of lies. Glad you got your wings Lulu. Next bell I hear should mean Pelosi got her wings.

In other words, it's delusional to think only one political party is so angelic and above attacking that they glow from the halos above their heads. Join reality.

Neo-Conservatives are imho among the divisive of all the political factions in the U.S. today.

It is the liberals that are the most divisive.  They have been that way for decades.

I believe modern liberalism is a form of mental illness.  Do not mistakenly believe my opinion also applies to classic liberalism.

Since it was modern liberalism that drove some democrats away from the Democratic party  and become neoconservatives, I guess the liberalism they are trying to bring to other countries is classical liberalism, not modern liberalism.

True neoconservatives staddle the division between the right and the left.  Neocons that try to create a big government (G.W. Bush) are more to the left than to the right.

Some people  are nasty when it comes to neocons without even understanding what neocons really are.  I believe they are nasty towards them simply because the DNC and high profile liberals are nasty towards them.  TheDNC and liberals are when it comes to neocons because they never forgave them for abandoning the Democratic Party decades ago.

As bad as Bush was, he was still the lesser of two evils...Gore and Kerry.

I have to agree with that statement.  But superior rhetoric occurs on both sides (see post 13 below yours where liberalism is described as a mental illness).  Until this kind of talk is marginalized on both sides we will continue to be a divided nation.

I agree with your statement.  And one way to marginalize them is to stop responding to these inflammatory comments.

Little girl wants to be President

"If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?"

She replied, "I'd give food and houses to homeless people."

"Wow...what a worthy goal!" I told her. "But you don't have  to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house, mow the lawn, pull weeds, rake my yard, and I'll pay you $50.
Then I'll take you to where a homeless guy hangs out. You can give him the $50 to use towards food and a house."

She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?"

I smiled and said, "Welcome to the Conservative Party."

Her parents still aren't speaking to me.
