The previous week brought several news which have shown some of the activities of Iran' leading warmongers .By Nov. 4th IDF naval commandos
boarded the merchant ship Francop and diverted it to the naval base at
Ashdod. Upon arribal IDF displayed its cargo of three thousand rockets and
various and other sundry ordnance useful only to terror forces.
This ship originated in Iran and was intercepted en route to Lebanon via Iran's ally Syria with the task to furnish some more of the rockets and other weapons for the use by Hisbollah, Irans permanent task force operating from Lebanon .
It goes without saying that this shipment constitutes hard proof
that Iran is actively sponsoring terrorist armies in Lebanon, Thi is in full breach of binding UN Security Council resolutions. Tat the raid has also exposed Syria's collusion with Iran in arming Hizbullah needs no further proof.. Several other acitivities of Irans leadership sponsoring terrrorism were equally notable during the week but contrary to experctations the act and the voices of the White House were rather low key . The positve aspect of the week is on the side of the defense in Israel . Some 1,400 of US military forces have
been deployed throughout the country for the annual Juniper Cobra missile
defense exercise conducted wutgh the IDF
Though Juniper Cobra is a routine maneuver,
this year's exercise however was unprecedented in size and scope. Observers claim
that there have never been so many American generals in Israel at one time and no previous Israeli-American joint exercise has been conducted with such a
high profile.
Israeli leaders did not hesitate to name the enemy in this
year's exercise. as theyb said that this year's Juniper Cobra exercise,was part of
the two nations' preparations for a joint response to a potential Iranian
strike against Israel. The obvious message Israel and the US hoped to
transmit to Iran was that the strategic alliance between the two countries
remains strong.. It would have been even more impressive if the White House or the Secretary of State - who was in the region - would have added their voices .
