Rush Limbaugh's site this week features the following story -- and edited photo -- at the top of the page: RUSH: Now, the jobless rate is now official. Yesterday it was 9.2%. Today they've really officialized it. The unemployment rate is 9.4%. This is a 26-year high! How is that hope and change working for you? How is that stimulus working for you? Biden went on television today while Obama's over there wining and dining his wife in Paris and says, "You know what? We're going to speed up the stimulus spending." They're going to speed it up? What, you're just going to do it by fiat or you going to go back to Congress and have legislation for this? These people are autocrats. They're running everything now at the White House on their own initiative without consulting Congress. Of course the Democrats in Congress don't care and the Republicans in Congress may not know. (I'm being charitable.) But the fact is that government-controlled Associated Press is trying to spin record high -- 26-year record.... Thoughts, anyone? Yes, the US economy is a mess but why does Rush single out President Obama?
Is the Bush-Cheney presidency blameless for the situation?
And, to put things in historical perspective, how does he explain the
fact that Bill Clinton left the White House with the record budget SURPLUS
and Bush-Cheney left us with a record budget DEFICIT, which continues to grow?
By the way, why does Rush sound like such a super-patriot now?
What happened during the Vietnam War, when he had a chance to serve
our country? Instead, he chickened out, claiming a pilonidal cyst on
his fat behind. I'm a 3rd Infantry Division vet, and also had a pilonidal
cyst. It was removed with a simple operation and I was fine in 2 weeks.
But super-patriot Rush pontificates about Iraq & Aghanistan, while sitting
safe & sound on his office, on his fat pilonidal cyst. What a hypocrite!
